My Creative Process is very detailed and organized to keep your project laser-focused and on schedule to meet your deadline.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
The Upwork platform manages all projects. Upwork acts as my Project Manager. Established in 2013, Upwork is the world's largest freelance talent marketplace. Upwork is a trust-driven platform offering Top-Rated Creative Talent from around the world, serving startup companies to Fortune 100 businesses.

Upwork handles all transactions concerning contract terms of the agreement. All payments are managed electronically through Upwork / Upwork Escrow Services.
ACCEPTED PAYMENT METHOD
All payments are managed electronically through Upwork / Upwork Escrow Services. I only accept payments through Upwork. If we are doing a Direct Contract (via Upwork), the process is slightly different, and I will send you a separate link to provide more details.
COMMUNICATION
All communication must be kept on Upwork until our contract starts. A Zoom or Google call for a Discovery Call is permitted before the contract begins. Additionally, signing an NDA prior to the contract beginning is allowed. Please message me if you have any questions about communication methods.
1. YOUR PAYMENT METHOD MUST BE VERIFIED
The FIRST STEP is to make sure your payment method is verified on Upwork. Once you add a valid form of payment to Upwork Escrow Services, I'm able to start my creative work for your project.
2. DISCOVERY CALL
Before our contract begins, I like to have a Discovery Call via Zoom (phone or video), so I can get to know you better and learn more about your project and business. If you're not able to make the call, communication via Upwork messenger is also an option. The Discovery Call can also occur AFTER the contract begins— it just depends on the situation.

During our Discovery Call, we’ll go over your specific project needs, project goals, the Scope of Work (SOW), the creative process, project timeline, communication expectations and project quote/estimate.
3. SEND OFFER
If everything looks good and the vibe feels right, the next step is to send me the offer. You will send me the offer through Upwork. Once I accept the offer, the contract starts!
4. CLIENT DISCOVERY QUESTIONNAIRE
Once the contract begins, the first document I will send you is my Client Discovery Questionnaire. The Client Discovery Questionnaire (CDQ) is an in-depth exploration and market research of your brand that allows me to learn more about your business, goals, brand personality, target audience, personal likes/dislikes, business pains, and competition.

▪️Please fill out the Client Discovery Questionnaire as soon as possible.

▪️Please understand that I must have your Questionnaire completed to start my creative work for your project.
5. DESIGN BRIEF
I will send my Client Discovery Questionnaire to gather all the information I need to start your project.
6. INITIAL CONCEPTS
Based on the Design Brief, I will provide initial concepts of the project we are working on. For example, if I'm designing a logo for your business, I'll provide initial concepts of the logo.

If the project is a copywriting piece, I will provide a First Draft.
And so forth. You get the idea.
7. REVISIONS
Depending on the Creative Package you choose (Starter, Standard, or Advanced) we will work together on the "agreed upon rounds of revisions" stated in the Creative Package or otherwise noted.
A "ROUND OF REVISIONS" OR A "REVISION SET" is 1 single revision request ----- OR ----- 1 or more revisions grouped together in a UPWORK MESSAGE.

For example, if you send me a UPWORK MESSAGE with the revisions:

1. Make the text "XYZ" 50% smaller in height and width on the 3rd page.
2. Replace "he" with "she" in all instances on the 4th page.
3. Remove the 3rd sentence of the first paragraph on the last page.

If you send me all of these revisions (1, 2, and 3) in 1 UPWORK MESSAGE, then that would be considered “1 Revision Set” or “1 Round of Revisions”.

NOTE: If you send me a single change request in 1 UPWORK MESSAGE, this would also count as a “1 Revision Set” or “1 Round of Revisions”, so it behooves you to group multiple revisions in 1 UPWORK MESSAGE.

NOTE: To keep the creative process organized and running smoothly, ALL revision requests MUST be sent via UPWORK MESSAGING. No texting or verbal revision requests are permitted.
8. FINAL DELIVERABLES
I will send you a package with all the source files for the final design and/or copywriting project.
REQUIREMENTS
When the contract begins, there are 4 tasks the Client must complete for the Designer-Copywriter to start creative work:
1. Participate in the Discovery Call.

2. Sign-off/approve the Scope of Work (SOW)— Both the Client and Designer-Copywriter will need to approve the SOW.

3. Complete the Client Discovery Questionnaire (CDQ).
NOTE: Not all projects will need a CDQ. I will let you know if your project does NOT require a CDQ, but for the most part, it's safe to assume that you will need a CDQ.

4. Please send me any required or requested assets to complete the project. (ie: fonts, photography, brand style guide, current logo, company website link, etc.).
